Our Facilities

Foyer de Barrage, our form of Horsepitality

Whether you are a parent or carer watching your child enjoying his or her riding lesson, or you want to chill-out and chat after you have ridden, our Foyer de Barrage is the place to be. Our foyer offers a soft seat with a view of the riders who are riding. We offer fresh (special) Hesselink coffee, have free Wifi, and in the winter the central heating provides a comfortable temperature.

Manege and stabling

Foyer de Barrage leads to the riding school stable block. The riding school stable block houses 17 riding school horses and ponies; has a spacious tack room where all the horses and ponies have their own saddle and bridle. This riding school stable block is directly adjacent to the indoor arena. There are also several more riding school horses stabled just outside the riding school stable block, these are recognisable by the blue grooming-kit bags and colourful name plates.

Opportunities for riding

With regard to opportunities for riding, we have a spacious 25×50 metre indoor arena and a 20×40 metre outdoor arena. Both of these arenas are equipped with dressage letter markers with pictures. This is to facilitate the lessons for children and disabled riders. We also have a jumping/ cross country field with natural obstacles, small bank and ditch (trench which can be filled with water = water pool) and a sand jumping piste. We like variation in our lessons, so it is always a surprise as to where the lesson will take place.

Surroundings

We are located on the edge of the De Maasduinen National Park. A bridle track runs around the entire property and this takes you, within 10 minutes at walk, to a network of bridle tracks. There, you can spend hours enjoying the most beautiful countryside around Leukermeer, Reindersmeer, the river Maas and the Dunes. Our Riding Centre is also an ideal starting point for walks or bicycle rides. We have ample parking for this.
